They remind me to try and be gentle with people, because you never know what is going on in their lives, what experiences have shaped them, and how they may be feeling right now.
I wont claim to always get this right. I can be sarcastic and dismissive and judgmental. But in my better moments, words like this inspire me to keep trying.
That’s totally it too: we can’t claim to be perfect, or follow advice all the time, but if we can be reminded along the way, it can help keep us behaving/becoming who we want to be.
